Here I am having just spent the last half hour drooling through your blog as I sit in Poland!!! I did a slip stitch pattern recently on socks, but the slips went wonky - they ended up spiralling around the sock instead of being in a staight line like yours. You're gonna have to publish the pattern so I can see where I went wrong. Also, did yours make quite a tight weave or not? (Mine did - read: once the socks are on they will never come off) Anyway, I think I am going to have to change my resolve to stay away form the potter when we get back home - maybe I can allow myself to read blogs of people I know and seeing as you made ER's hemp-n-BKT nappies, that counts.
